Current… the boring word for Now!
Al Gore just “won” a random award on the Primetime Emmys for his internet-based Current TV.
Yawn.
Thankfully, there weren’t any other nominees, so there’s no need for a recount. Gore got a standing ovation, which sort of takes away from the standing ovation the audience gave the cast of Roots (which deserved it). Step aside yellow ribbons and American flags, the Left’s bumper sticker is “Election 2000 Recount: NEVER FORGET!”
