Cool article...great link from Ann Coulter's site.

I've always found Ann to be very thought-provoking. I know liberals hate her, and want to pass on the myth that conservatives try to distance themselves from her. Funny thing is, I've never met a liberal who has read any of her columns or her books.

Then again, I've never met a liberal who understands history. Like Reagan said, "A liberal is someone who reads Marx and Lenin. A conservative is one who understands Marx and Lenin."

I find it sad how modern liberals ignore history - even recent history - and believe that their "new ideas" will ever work. Take any topic...say, socialized medicine. It's been tried numerous times over many, many years in many, many countries, and it has always failed. Somehow liberals either are intentionally ignorant of this, know it but refuse to acknowledge it for the sole purpose of pandering and gaining "power," or just don't understand that it doesn't make sense to watch others bang their heads against a wall hundreds of times without effect, yet somehow banging our (the US') head against the same wall knock it down.

There's a reason people want to come here from all "progressive" nations with socialized medicine when in search of speedy and quality medical care - our free market approach works. Capitalism promotes innovation.

I know I branched off-topic somewhat, but I needed to vent. Banning pics or quotes of Ann's or anyone else's because they are not "politically-correct" isn't quite constitutional. We have no right to not be offended.

Rock on, Ann!

Liberals routinely preach tolerance and say that conservatives are hateful and mean-spirited. But when a conservative woman speaks out, their first reaction always seems to be to call her ugly. In the case of Ann Coulter this is simply silly. I suppose different people have different tastes, but I can't imagine how any man would honestly think Coulter ugly. But in any case, surely a woman's physical appearance has nothing to do with the intellectual quality of her political positions. Calling a woman ugly because you disagree with what she's saying is just plain mean-spirited -- what liberals are supposedly against. And sexist, I might point out. Does anyone try to discredit a MAN's political positions on the grounds that he's physically unattractive?

I'm also amused by the bizarre statement that Christians in America can't possibly be discriminated against because they are a majority. Like, say, black people in South Africa in the 80's? Just no way they could be victims of discrimination, they were the majority! Or for that matter, in America today liberals are constantly screaming about how they are being persecuted by the fascist Bush regime. But they also claim that Bush stole the election. So are liberals the majority, or are they being persecuted? You just told me that both can't be true. Obviously, then, one of your complaints is a lie.

OK Quick Answer! If I see someone trying to kill you, what should I do?
A.) Try to stop him.
B.) Try to understand him.

If you said A you're pro-life
If you said B you're pro-choice

Ok quick question for the pro-lifers on here, you feel that its wrong to abort a fetus because its a living soul and your taught in that bible that life begins at conception that life is a thing that should be cherished and protected, it even sez in the ten commandments ' Though shalt not kill', I'm pro-choice but thats an argument I can understand, your simply against murdering innocent (potential) people...so whats your opinion on the Iraq war?

Ranger Joe, you are a moral less, godless, windbag that spews liberal sound bite baloney in an attempt to sound logical, reasonable, and unbiased. Cow pies!

Does the word moral equivalence mean anything to you. Of course not, you have no morals or values beyond, if it feels good, do it! You have no comprehension of morals whatsoever. You simply think that since a belief is pop-culture, then it must be moral because it is popular. The problem with that is that as our culture has been hijacked by the likes of Tila Tequila and Brittany Spears. When Richard Gere and Madonna are the beacons of spirituality, our souls are not only lost, we have forsaken them.

All religions are not created equal, no matter how sensible you think it sounds. I'm not just saying this because I am Christian.

Christianity has reformed itself to the extent that violence and oppression are the extreme exception and not the norm. No other religion has spread civilization and morality like Christianity. Sure, Christians of old committed some transgressions in the process, but most were in the name of personal power by individuals under the guise of spreading the faith. The legacy of these tyrants actions are some of the most civil, moral, and prosperous societies on the planet.

As a Christian of the Catholic faith, that only mildly practices, we are told and taught that the Jews are the chosen people. While some individuals have historically acted counter to that teaching, the message has taken root by the vast majority of Catholics and Christians in general, as only the most ignorant and extremist of Christians revile the Jews. Gladly, they are very, very small in number.

Your suggestion that Islam is morally equivalent to Christianity is ludicrous. When 60+ percent of Muslims living in western societies say in polling that the believe that Sharia should be instituted in the countries they moved to, it says that even the so-called moderate, peaceful Muslims believe in the most barbaric doctrines of their religion.

They are also saying the rest of us have no freedom of religion, because the very heart of Sharia and Islam in general is the belief that anyone practicing any other religion are dhimmi. Remember that term well, as your throat is being slashed for your atheism and your wife is being raped. I suggest you look up the term dhimmi, kuffar, and jigza. Then you will know where you will stand with Muslims. If that extreme scenario would ever come to pass in your lifetime, you will drop to your knees and pray to the Christian god that Christianity would return to power. Better yet, prove your belief in equivalence and go to your beloved Muslim friend’s country, such as Mauritania and experience the joy that the recent French picnicers did. They got shot for not being Muslims!

There are approximately 20 armed conflicts in the world today. I believe 19 are Muslims fighting to impose a pure Islamic state. How many Christians commit violence in the name of Jesus?

Don't even try to say that George Bush's war in Iraq is a Christian one. No one is trying to impose Christianity there. But honestly, Ann Coulters extreme proposal to spread Christianity there would certainly be a boon for the women there, which are pretty much relegated to the role of chattel. I can here the Muslim women cheering now!

Islam has no intention of living in peace with us. It is against the Koran. I suggest you read a translation. It scared the hell out of me. That the most extreme of beliefs in there are practiced in whole Islamic countries is insane and frightening. The most extreme beliefs contained in the Bible have not been practiced in centuries.

On abortion, the Constitution grants no right to abortion. Period. Only in an extremists interpretation, a total right to privacy is still a stretch. It just isn't there.

Gay marriage, well, you obviously have no clue what marriage is. Marriage is not a civil issue, you passionless gall stone. If you are referring to the civil legal aspect of marriage, then you are referring to an oppressive action by government to control marriage. Marriage is not a civil issue, it is a spiritual one. It has been diminished to a cheap civil contract to be arbitrarily tweaked according to style, fashion, and pop-culture.

No, society will not end if it is allowed, but it will be another nail in the coffin of virtue and morality. You, of course, cannot comprehend and should never speak of morality until you understand it. What it will do is further undermine our future as our children care less and less about how they conduct themselves. Life, love, and family (blood family you idiot) will cease to exist. In that sense, yes, we would be doomed. Liberalism has destroyed the family, the vary foundation of civilization. Marriage is the foundation of the family, not two daddies.

What you call development of society, morality dictates that it is decadence. I suggest you look that up. It doesn't mean rich chocolates.

Ann Coulter is so out of your league you cannot comprehend her at all anymore than a worm can comprehend your moronic key strokes.

Christians are taught to hate evil. Liberals have no clue what that means because they are always trying to understand the motivations of people that do evil things. Evil exists, most of the time for its own sake. There is not understanding it, it just is. And it exists in mostly in those that have lost their sense of morality and go against Christian teachings. Ann Coulter only hates that which she sees as evil. Really, there is nothing wrong with that unless you are a girly man.

Before you go and try to pull the Inquisition out of your arse, consider this. More people were killed in the 100 years of the 20th century by secular governments then in all 2000+ years of Christianity. Now Islam is trying to top Hitler and Stalin (see Bin Laden and Iranian President).

Your suggestion that Christians are claiming to be persecuted, well you are centuries late for that, you imbecile. But to say that there isn't a concerted and obvious prejudice and attack on Christianity would be wholly dishonest.

In the end, I would rather be governed by a religious man that believes that he will be judged by God, than a man that "knows" that he will never be judged at all.

When our rights are granted by a creator, then no man can take them away, but for forsaking truth and righteousness. When our rights are granted by men, those rights can be taken away at man's whim and convenience.

God bless you, because God knows you need it. Oh, and Jesus still loves you, despite your hatred towards him.

"I believe Ann should run for office ,maybe Mitt would pick her for a running mate.
Total admiration for her ability to strike with a sword, into the heart of the Dragon ,every time!
If nothing else, ANN for the SUPREMES. Because she is Supreme!"
(jerry sutton)
Well, if you'd read her books you'd realize that she thinks women shouldn't be able to vote, much less serve in office. And as I'm sure everyone out there knows but doesn't want to admit, there is NO disparity between the intelligence levels of liberals and conservatives- they just have differing views. Even if Miss Coulter did swing the intelligence meter in the conservatives' direction, I'm afraid that President Bush would head butt it back to its previous locale.

I have tremendous respect for what the Republican Party used to stand for: supporting the common man by keeping taxes low and the government out of everyone's business. But what the party has become is so convoluted and corrupted that we may as well combine the Dems and GOPs, throw them in a room together, and torch the place.

Ranger Joe did not serve in the US Army during this conflict or any other. "theatre" and "squad mates" are British terms. You know, sort of like, "slogging it out in Sicily with Dear Old Monty". His text sounds like it came from a second form teacher back in Jolly Old England. Miss Coulter is awesome.

It's interesting that Weinstein is referring to these as "violations of religious freedom", shouldn't they rather be cited as "EXAMPLES of religious freedom"? Once again, ignorant liberals confuse "freedom OF religion" with "freedom FROM religion" which, as anyone with an 8th grade education who bothers to check can tell you, DOES NOT EXIST!
