Merry Christmas! I hope that Christmas with your mother, step-father, and BOTUS is going well.
Lisa, I have a question for you. Why do you think that Ann Coulter loves Rudy so much? Why does she disregard Rudy’s anti-conservative positions on same-sex marriage and abortion? Why is there a double standard?
“Oh, that’s just Rudy being Rudy. Yeah, he supports women’s bloodthirsty right to murder millions and millions of innocent babies and for homosexuals that right to shamelessly sodomize each other, but at least you can walk around New York City at 3:00 in the morning and not get begged for spare change.” (Satire)
Socially-liberal Rudy sounds like a winner to me. Hey, all of these Red states got the Republicans elected in 2004. Well, maybe the liberals can make Christians irrelevant by trying to get a right-to-sodomy-supporting pro-choicer. As an aside, the baby has no choice in the matter. The judgement of the mother, who is either motivated by guilt or greed, cannot be trusted with making a decision for the minor who resides in her womb.

In fairness, I am referring to Ann’s criticism of Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee in the following article: http://www.anncoulter.com/cgi-local/article.cgi?article=211
It seems as if she looks past Rudy’s and Mitt’s imperfections and targets in on Fred and Mike. I want to see her be fair and balanced and pick those two apart as well. Heck, let’s just tear all of our choices apart so that ol’ Hillary wins that Presidential election in a landslide!
Pro-life and Defense of Marriage are the two most important issues facing the country right now. The next President will probably nominate one or two justices. It is our chance to continue installing sane justices who are willing to protect the lives of innocent young Americans.
Protecting our borders from illegal immigrants is important too, but people will always find a way to enter our country illegally. When there are enough thousands of dollars on the line, they will find a way.

Without trying to have a conversation with myself, Defense of Marriage and Pro-life are the two most important issues that separate the Republican candidates. Obviously, Iraq, keeping Democrats out of office, and taxes are issues that are most important to the country right now. From a conservative standpoint, these are very important issues.

Richard — I’ve decided to answer your Coulter question in a post. More to come!
