Recipe of the Week: Chicken Parm for an Army

Written by Lotus on Saturday, 6 of September , 2008 at 5:39 pm

Yes, it’s a pretty loose interpretation of “week” since it’s been a couple months since I’ve posted a recipe.  It’s Trevor’s fault, but he makes up for it by offering a good one this time around.  Click here for his Chicken Parmigiana.  As noted above, the recipe can feed an Army, so plan or do the math accordingly!

Recipe of the Week: Honkin’ Hamburgers

Written by Lotus on Sunday, 18 of May , 2008 at 8:09 pm

Trevor’s recipe of the week is Honkin’ Hamburgers.  He wisely reminds his readers, “Restaurants can advertise fresh ingredients all day long, but if they don’t bother to season their food, what’s the point of eating it?”

Also, last week I neglected to post Trevor’s recipe of the week, a hearty Baked French Onion Soup.  Since he didn’t post a photo, I’ll post this one of him in his fancy apron.

Blogging from Palm Beach, FL

Written by Lotus on Sunday, 27 of April , 2008 at 2:17 pm

If “blogging” means posting a photo of the awesome view I have from my friend’s terrace.

Also, here’s Trevor’s recipe of the week: Chicken wings with blue cheese dip.  Unfortunately, I won’t be trying the wings (LOTUS has a strict no-bone policy), but the dip looks good!

Recipe of the Week: Open-Faced Sloppy Joes

Written by Lotus on Saturday, 12 of April , 2008 at 12:31 pm

This week Trevor is cooking up Sloppy Joes.  I’ve never been a big fan of loose-meat sandwiches, but these look awesome.

Recipe of the Week: Chicken Fajitas

Written by Lotus on Sunday, 6 of April , 2008 at 5:50 pm

This week Trevor is serving up chicken fajitas.  LOTUS has been sick for the last couple of days, so everything sort of tastes the same.  Maybe I just need to add more cayenne pepper to my life.

Recipe of the Week: Tortilla Soup

Written by Lotus on Saturday, 22 of March , 2008 at 9:39 am

This weeks’s recipe is Trevor’s Tortilla Soup.  I like this one because it’s a smooth, creamy soup rather than the typical broth-based soup.  Unfortunately, there’s no picture, so you’ll just have to make it yourself!

Trevor’s Recipe of the Week

Written by Lotus on Saturday, 8 of March , 2008 at 1:56 am

My friend Trevor at Who’s Your Nanny? is a great cook and just started posting his recipe of the week.  I’ve been toying with the same idea, but decided it would be easier to just link to him.  Also, I’m a super picky eater, so anything I post will have half of the ingredients taken out.

Anyway, this week Trevor is serving up Seared Yellowfin Tuna with Pomegranate Salsa.  For more of Trevor’s recipes, check out his cookbook, 50 Ways to Impress Your Girlfriend’s Parents (When Nothing Else Works).
